Aparmita is the bestower of longevity and is invoked during rituals associated with the prolonging of life. He is seated in the padmasana or full lotus pose with his right leg on top of his left and the soles of his feet facing the sky. Both his hands are resting on his lap in the dhyana mudra of meditation with a vase in his hands filled with a healing elixir or a kalasha.
