Furniture Keyhole Escutcheon is a large embossed keyhole plate. Made to match the originals, these keyhole covers are stamped from brass, Useful on drawers, desks and chests where a brass accent is needed. Mounts on front of furniture.
Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon
- Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
- Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
- Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
- Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
